Genre fiction
Here at the Little Red Bookshop we tend to avoid what is commonly referred to as 'Popular Fiction'. You won't find any Janet Evanovich, or Dan Brown, unless you hunt through the $2.00 Bin. That being said we do have a selected range of 'Popular Fiction' that has passed the LRBS test. Authors such as Stephen King, who's 'Salem's Lot' is currently sitting on the bedside table. Edward Rutherfurd, because not everyone can write a book with a ten-thousand year storyline. Diana Gabaldon, because to my mind she's a Sci-Fi/ Fantasy writer...
